Recently in Shantou Customs District, subordinate Jieyang Customs House provided registration-free clearance service for Jieyang Xuemei Cosmetics Company LTD. that declared an export of 10-tons pomade wax through the “Single Window” platform, marking the first export of cosmetics without manufacturer registration with the Customs in the east of Guangdong Province since the issue of GACC Announcement No. 99 of 2020.

Before then, Jieyang Xuefei Cosmetics Company was not registered with the Customs as a cosmetics exporter. Several days ago, the company consulted Jieyang Customs House about export procedures and, under the guidance of the Customs, the company finished online applications over the “Single Window” for product inspection and export clearance, eliminating the time and cost on enterprise registration.

Reportedly, GACC Announcement No. 99 of 2020 calls for adjusted regulatory requirements on some of import/export goods, including registration exemption for export-oriented cosmetics manufacturers and favorable measures for the manufacturers of export fodder/fodder additives, aquatic animals, and vegetables, so as to reduce business cost and enhance clearance efficiency with least regulatory formalities.
