On April 10 at noon, a batch of 150,000 antibody detection kits, made for the novel coronavirus by ZHUHAI LIVZON DIAGNOSTICS INC., cleared customs for their export to Hong Kong from the highway port of Zhuhai on Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge. After that, these detection kits will be transited via Hong Kong to Malaysia for local anti-epidemic purpose.
With anti-epidemic supplies in surging demand at abroad, the Customs House on Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge in Gongbei Customs District has taken measures to help Zhuhai-based pharmaceutical enterprises resume production and export of medical products. For ZHUHAI LIVZON with start-up export business, the Customs actively provided clearance guidance and preferential measures such as “two-step declaration”; by explaining the regulations on medical supplies, the Customs helped the company apply for medical product registration certificate and make relevant Business Statement and other documents; through intensive quality and safety management, strictly checked the outbound detection kits amid the fast clearance.
By the end of April 10, the Customs House cleared 5 batches of the antibody detection kits, totaling 307,000, made by ZHUHAI LIVZON for export.
