Minister Yu Guangzhou meets with State Secretary and Director-General of the Tax Administration, Ministry of Finance of Poland

On May 13, Minister Yu Guangzhou of the General Administration of China Customs (GACC), Vice Minister Sun Yibiao and Zhang Guangzhi (Member of the Board, GACC), met with Mr. Marian Bana, State Secretary and Director-General of the Tax Administration, Ministry of Finance of Poland, at the Headquarters of GACC.

Yu Guangzhou extended warm welcome to Mr. Marian Bana for attending the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation. Polish guests highly expressed appreciation on the Belt and Road Initiative and for being invited to the Forum. He also expressed his willingness to work closely with China Customs under the Belt and Road Initiative. Both sides spoke highly of bilateral cooperation on Customs. They exchanged views and reached consensus on the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation of Customs Clearance Facilitation between China and Poland and the newly signed Action Plan thereof, Customs collaboration under the aegis of China - Europe and China - Middle and East Europe Frameworks, enhancement of cooperation on China Railway Express and capacity building, etc.

During the meeting, Yu Guangzhou and Mr. Marian Bana signed the Action Plan of Cooperation on Customs Clearance Facilitation in 2017 - 2018 between the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China and the State Tax Administration of the Republic of Poland.
