Officers of Dayaowan Customs House (affiliated to Dalian Customs District) said they had seized 24 taxus in a fishing boat that might be involved in the smuggling activities a few days ago. The plants seized were later confirmed as Taxus Cuspidata, an endangered species listed under Class Ⅰ State protection.
