Kunming Customs Seizes 230-Ton Sugar Smuggled from Burma

Customs officers count the smuggled bags of sugar.

 

Recently in Kunming Customs District, the officers of Wanding Customs House intercepted 7 suspicious trucks inbound across China-Burma border. On all of the trucks, the officers seized powdered sugar, granulated sugar and crystal sugar that were smuggled in, totaling 230 tons and 1.12 million Yuan worth.
