On January 30, Vice Minister Zhang Jiwen met with Mr. Venatas Griciunas, Vice Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania, and his delegation. Both sides exchanged views on the issues such as the quarantine access of imported wheat, haylage, beef and aquatic products from Lithuania to China.

After the meeting, Vice Minister Zhang Jiwen, toghether with Vice Minister Venatas Griciunas and Mr. Mantas Staskevicius, Deputy Director of State Food and Veterinary Service of Lithuania, signed the Protocol on veterinary and phytosanitary requirements of haylage to be exported from Lithuania to China.

Ms. Ina Marciulionyte, Lithuanian ambassador to China, also attended the meeting.
