Recently in Dalian Customs District, a shipment of steel-cord conveyor belts from Australia, totaling 35.74 tons, were identified by Dayaowan Customs House as too worn-out to meet the Chinese standard of GB/T9770-2013 on such belt quality and safety, and thus belonging to the solid waste prohibited by the state from importation.

Now, these waste belts are detained under further investigation by relevant authority.
