Customs seizure of the pest “Green Banana Cockroach”
Recently in Nanjing Customs District, the subordinate Zhangjiagang Customs House inspected a batch of inbound logs from South America and seized one live green cockroach, which was then identified to be the pest of Panchlora Nivea by local customs laboratory.
Panchlora Nivea, also called “Green Banana Cockroach” usually found in Cuban and Caribbean coasts, is harmful to trees and crops.
