Customs officer helps the applicant with registration procedure.
On August 27, Gongbei Customs District began to conduct the registration of highway manifest senders at the Zhuhai highway port of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, marking the first customs transaction made at the highway port.
According to Customs officers, the registration procedure targets enterprise-designated senders of electronic manifest data regarding inbound and outbound goods that are transported via the highway port. The data senders are only required to fill in and submit relevant Registration Form. If they are early registered with other Customs Districts like Shenzhen and Guangzhou, they need to undertake the alteration formalities at the Zhuhai port by submitting their Registration Form and relevant application. For more information, call Customs hotline “12360”.
Now, at the highway port, Gongbei Customs is practicing clearance procedures involving cargo transport, passenger-luggage inspection and vehicle control, so as to ensure smooth performance when the port is officially put into use later.
