Customs officers take photos of substandard waste paper for evidence.

On August 23, Huzhou Customs House in Hangzhou Customs District returned an import consignment of waste paper in 10 TEUs, totaling 123.71 tons.

Through Customs inspection, it was found that those pieces of waste paper, imported from the USA, were out of limit in terms of adulterants, thus incompliant with China’s environmental protection standard regarding solid waste.
