On August 21, Vice Minister Zhang Jiwen met in Beijing with Mr. Carles, Minister of Agricultural Development of Panama, and Mr. Ulloa, Vice Minister of Health of Panama.  
 
The two sides exchanged views on quarantine access of meat, aquatic products and fruits from Panama into the Chinese market as well as health quarantine at ports. Mr. Francisco Escobar, Panama Ambassador to China, also attended the meeting.
