Vice Minister Li Guo meets with Mrs. Marie-Gabrielle Ineichen-Fleisch, the head of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), State Secretary of Switzerland.

On April 24, Vice Minister Li Guo met in GACC with Mrs. Marie-Gabrielle Ineichen-Fleisch, the head of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), State Secretary of Switzerland, and Mr. Luis Miguel Etchevehere, State Secretary of Agroindustry of Argentina, respectively.

Vice Minister Li Guo and State Secretary Marie-Gabrielle Ineichen-Fleisch addressed in depth the topics such as the registration of Swiss pork establishments in China, customs control on cross-border e-commerce and TBT/SPS cooperation under the framework of China-Switzerland Free Trade Agreement.

Vice Minister Li Guo and Secretary Etchevehere discussed registration of Argentine meat establishments in China and the safety of import and export food. The two sides signed the Protocol on Inspection, Quarantine, Veterinary Sanitary Requirements Regarding Import and Export of Pork between China and Argentina, and the Memorandum of Understanding to Strengthen the Cooperation in Safety Issues of Imported and Exported Food. Mr. Diego Guelar, Argentine Ambassador to China also participated in the meeting.
