Customs seizure of export perfume that infringe LANCOME IPR

On September 22, a company declared an export consignment to Hengqin Customs House subordinate to Gongbei Customs District. Through cargo inspection, the officers found 288 bottles of perfume with “LANCOME” trademark on their packages, suspected of infringing the “LANCOME” IPR registered by LANCOME PARFUMS ET BEAUTE & CIE with the GACC.

On September 25, the IPR owner confirmed the infringement in writing. At present, the Customs has detained this batch of export perfume for further investigation.
