On November 6, Gongbei Customs Office for Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge finished clearing the first import upon online declaration and duty payment.

That day, a Zhuhai-based company adopting “self-declaration and self-payment” mode, declared an import consignment of dental casts in the manner of “general trade” to the Customs, involving duty amount of 1,255.56 Yuan. By using new-generation e-payment system on the Single Window platform, along with the “advance examination and approval” mode at the Zhuhai highway port, customs-clearance operation system finished the one-stop process in only 16 minutes from sending e-declaration data to confirming the duty paid and the declaration completed, while the import goods were still in preparation for dispatch. Later, when relevant vehicles entered the Customs control area, the goods got released immediately, demonstrating the fast and convenient clearance conducted online for enterprises.
