Recently, a batch of Wuzhou-made Liupao tea was directly exported to Indonesia for the first time through the inspection and quarantine by Wuzhou Customs House in Nanning Customs District, which provided the outbound tea with Health Certificate and Phytosanitary Certificate. This ordinary export indicated Liupao tea expansion on the “Maritime Silk Road” market.
To ensure Wuzhou Liupao tea compliant with quality and safety requirements by export destinations, Wuzhou Customs has always helped local tea plantations become the registered origin of raw-food materials by making field inspection over their water-and-soil safety indexes, produce management, pest control, etc., and always required the contracts between tea exporters and tea processors to contain food-safety protection clauses; in daily supervision, the Customs conducts the safety inspection as per statutory requirements by the countries/regions of destination.
