Minister Ni Yuefeng signs the Protocol with Ms. Fabiola Munoz, Peruvian Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation.

On June 28, Minister Ni Yuefeng met with Ms. Fabiola Munoz, Peruvian Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, at the headquarters of China Customs.

The two sides addressed in depth the topics such as strengthening bilateral cooperation on animal and plant quarantine and import and export food safety, promoting the market access of Peru’s frozen avocados and Brazilian nuts to China, and protecting the environment. After the meeting, the two Ministers signed together the Protocol of Phytosanitary Requirements for the Export of Quinoa from Peru to China.

Mr. Luis Quesada, Peruvian Ambassador to China, also participated in the meeting.
