Minister Ni Yuefeng and Mr. Walker, Minister of Agriculture of Chile, jointly sign the documents.

On November 2, Minister Ni Yuefeng met with Mr. Antonio Walker, Minister of Agriculture of Chile, in Beijing, China.

Minister Ni and Minister Walker jointly signed the Procedure for Chilean Fresh Fruit Exports to the People’s Republic of China in Combined Sea and Air Shipments with Transshipment in a Third Country between the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Chile, and the Protocol of Phytosanitary Requirements for the Export of Chinese Fresh Jujubes to Chile between the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China and the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Chile.

Before the signing ceremony, Vice Minister Zhang Jiwen exchanged in-depth views with Mr. Walker on issues such as export of Chilean fruits, honey, meat to China and China-Chile cooperation regarding electronic certificates and “Single Window”.

Mr. Zhang Guangzhi, Member of CPC Leadership Group and Director-General of the General Office of GACC, and Mr. Schmidt, Chilean Ambassador to China, also attended the meeting.
