04/22/2020
-EndFragment-->

On March 23, Lianyungang Customs (subordinate to Nanjing Customs District) made pre-declaration inspection and quarantine over 500 tons of rice produced by Lianyungang Tiangu Rice Company just before its declaration for export to Africa by sea. The Customs provided expert guidance and online processes to fast clear the exported rice.

According to Lianyungang Tiangu Rice Company, the Customs guided them through enterprise registration and cargo inspection before their declaration so as to make earliest shipment and, by giving facilitating policies, helped them ensure quality control, explore overseas market and minimize the epidemic impact.

During the epidemic period, Lianyungang Customs provided precise guidance and supports for local agricultural exporters, enabling first exports of such products as mushroom extracts and rice.
